The 40th Summer Seminar on Population will be hold at the East-West Center located in Honolulu, Hawaii starting from 2 June up to 2 July 2009. This program will have three workshops where each has its own program. However, each participant will have lots of opportunities to build professional relation with all participants.

Applicants of the Summer Seminar on Population must be a university graduate with a good command of English and passed courses and training related to the seminar topic which they are applying for. Preferences will be given for those involved in research or programs with university, government officials or private organizations in relation towards population and health, and doctorate candidates that are undergoing their dissertation research related to the seminar’s topic.
